I started rapping in 1986 with the group the T.B.C. (Total Body Control). As we developed our rap skills we also use to D.J. on the side. I use to have fun performing. Back then rap music was innocent and clean. During that time even though I was having a good time I started to feel empty on the inside. I really felt like I should have been doing more with my life. I can remember how empty I felt seeing the same people doing the same thing over and over again. I can still remember standing on stage realizing I must give it up. Not long after that I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and I never thought I would rap or D.J. again. This was in the early nineties. After I got grounded and rooted in the Word God call me to preach. This was about four years after I got saved. I have been through many trails since I been saved but I can''t explain the joy and peace that I have on the inside. I ran into one of the members of the T.B.C. and he ask me about doing Christian rap. I prayed about it and talk to my pastor about it and I decided to do it. Now when I minister through rap music I no longer feel empty inside. We now have two
C D''s and I ask everyone to pray that God will bless them because it is all done for his Glory. My theme is Spiritually minded because the mind is the battle ground . My theme comes from the Bible. My theme scripture is Romans 8:6. I ask everyone to pray that Spiritually Minded will no only be my theme but also be my lifestyle. I also pray that through these projects some one will come to find the joy and peace that only the Lord can give. The only way we can be spiritually minded is to stay in Christ.
