Sojourn is back with their first studio CD in over 5 years. This new release includes 9 studio tracks and 6 live tracks. This time around, the band is a 4-piece and this CD marks the first full recording featuring drummer Dennis Jeltema.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan based group continues to put out strong music with lyrics reflecting their personal lives and beliefs. Members are:

Tim Hamm - Bass Guitar
"Once Again" is generating quite a bit of excitement, and is said to be the most enjoyable effort yet. The CD includes many strong tracks, for example "This Is The Way", "So Good", and "Big Mouth".
Sojourn has moved in a more "rock" direction, when compared to their original "folk" early days. However, the early influences are not lost, especially when listening to their arrangement of the classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water".
The band continues to evolve, but this CD shows Sojourn operating in their most cohesive effort to date.
The CD is highly recommended for those looking for some original acoustic pop music, with a bit of unique creativity thrown in.
