SOOT continues to record new material as if there''s no tomorrow. To date, the band has four full-length studio albums, two live albums, and is part of two compilation CD''s ("Motor City Meltdown" and "2005 Detroit Music Award Nominees"). This band is truly one of the most active songwriting groups in the region. They have established great relationships with some of Detroit''s best studios, producers, and graphic artists. Besides the music, the band also has a live DVD and four music videos, two of which were nominated for Outstanding Video at the 2005 Detroit Music Awards.
SOOT has packed in the houses at such venues as The Magic Bag, St. Andrew''s Hall, The Blind Pig, Royal Oak Music Theater, Emerald Theatre, and countless more. The band has performed with a variety of acts from Fishbone to The Byrds to The Wailers. SOOT has also made numerous radio appearances throughout Michigan and Ohio and is currently touring in support of their new CD "Great Fire of 1756".
