I am a lover of music with the disadvantage of not being able to play an instrument or carry a tune. This love of music started me scribbling (writing). My ultimate goal is to write finely crafted songs that the listeners will unconsciously escape reality and find themselves lost in the lyrics and melody.
The scribbles on this CD were brought to life by a varied group of talented musicians. I also had the privilege of collaborating with singer/songwriter – Theresa Decker, who shared her words and amazing voice on “Love’s Walkin’ Away”, “One More Time”, and “Say It”. Theresa’s also covered the vocals on “Find My Way Back”.
The title tract, “Sons and Daughters” was inspired by my gratitude for the men and women in uniform, past and present, for their service, for their families sacrifice and especially for preserving the freedoms we enjoy as an Americans.
