The Covered Peters were formed in November, 1975 and December, 1976, respectively, by Gary "G-Moneysauce" and Debi "D-Diddy" Peters in West Jefferson, Ohio.
Trevor ("Ogre, you asshole.") picked up a guitar sometime in late 1991, and once he made it through his "Learn AC/DC Through the Magic of Tablature" songbook, the table was set for the Feast That Would Become The Covered Peters.
Naturally, not many people are born with Electric Vocals. Sammy Hagar, Mick Jagger, that guy from Cinderella... They''re all pussies. LunchBox, however, was bestowed with the Greatest Gift God can give. When he springs some Lunch-I-Tude on your ass, it feels like you''re standing in front of a jet engine.
Added to his wee little brother''s Acoustic Attack, Lunch''s gift shone even brighter, so they decided to take the act on the road. After a few shit gigs at some open mike deal, The Covered Peters started their headlining tour of Southeast Asia and Greater Micronesia. They''re huge there. Really.
Sadly, the fellers don''t get out too much, anymore, but I''ve dug up some classic CP from their debut EP, Ass-A-Rific, The Best of the Covered Peters, Volume One. Unfortunately, it was recorded in the basement of a "Casa Depot" in Huaraches, Mexico, so it sounds like poop on a stick, but the idea is there. Let them take you back to the smoke-filled halls of Pre-Ban Columbus... Imagine the dimly-lit stage... The Incredibly-Wasted Boys of Blue, staggering out to the chants of their fan... Come along...
