"Great atmosphere... from the start this is gripping like a classic movie. Twisted in the way that the vocals are muffled with a seething undercurrent playing off beautifully against the flawless piano. String integrity. Reminds me of some material from Radiohead''s Kid A album. Also reminiscent of The Cure''s Seventeen Seconds album in parts, but with those sunkist West Coast vox over the top it actually permeates with greater melancholy. Powerful work."
