Aqueous is a hard-working, up and coming Rock/Jam band from the Buffalo/Western New York area. The band has been together since 2005. Throughout their 4 years together, the band has undergone great transformations. Aqueous began by learning many covers from their favorite artists like Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. With time, the band’s style began to change from straight rock to a more contemporary jam style. The band now focuses on their improvisational musicality. It is not unlikely to hear them play lengthy songs that include fluent improvisational jams that reference multiple genres of music. Although the instrumental aspect is the bands strength, they also write creative lyric parts with catchy melodies that will have you humming them on the car ride home after a show. While their early and current influences can still be heard in their songs, Aqueous is starting to come into a style of their own. People are really beginning to recognize the potential in this band.
