I’m Dan Whitney, I’m a college student at UNH. I started out my music career as a drummer and it’s still my instrument of choice. I started playing the guitar with my brother who was already an insane funk player, and the funkiness, I came to find out, runs in our family. When my brothers and dad and I play together, we call it the Whitney shuffle. We have a unique sense of groove. I started writing music of my own and just fell in love with it. I love everything about music! I play the guitar, vocals, mandolin, and the piano drums (only because my actual drum kit doesn’t record well with the software I have). I’m not the best singer or lyric writer, but listen to the music as a whole and listen to the unique fills I put in with the instruments I have. Take a gander, I’m sure you’ll dig my music.
