On "4 Walls" and "Choked" the lyrics seem to speak of un urge to break out, or escape, fuelled by machine gun attacks of guitar and a wall of bass and percussion. It''s intense stuff. On the flip side you find sentiment in the vocals for "Still" and "Stay with Me" with a solid musical underlay which carries both these numbers with total efficiency. Recently, Unit 731 has been awarded the Canadian Winners for the ICE Entertainment ''Global Battle of the Bands''. They will be traveling to London England on Dec 7 2005 to compete in the World Finals. Global Battle of the Bands has 25 countries in this final event. The Winners receive $100,000 and a World Tour. Unit 731 has been seeing much success lately with being picked out of 170 Bands in the Xtreme Music conference in Montreal in Oct 2005. This brought the band to the A&R''s attention and led them to the Global Battle of the Bands...See you at the top!!
