Yielded Vessels (all sisters) are truly setting the stage for gospel music to go to the next level. They are definitely the type of icon needed to project that saints are more than conquers. Always on the cutting edge of performing arts, these sisters are not only profound singers, but bring powerful director, acting, producing, songwriting, and theatrical skills that are more then enough ingredients to leave you mesmerized. It doesn''t stop there. One member is a classical violinist that has made a multitude of international performances all over the world.
Yielded Vessels is only the beginning of Power Drive Records new millennium vision. We are very passionate about what the Lord is using us for.
All were raised in Kansas City, Kansas by Mr. Herbert and Missionary Elnora Bilberry. As children, they listened to a host of gospel legends such as the Clark Sisters, Shirley Caesar, Tramaine Hawkins, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and the Winans. YV has been singing in churches all of their lives and began to perform professionally at quite young ages. All came up through COGIC sunshine bands, youth, adult, and mass choirs. They started at Madden Temple Church Of God in Christ, under the leadership of Supt. Moses Cofield where we sang with the Kansas East State Sunshine Band and have been singing praises ever since.
Currently as members of Evangelistic Center Cathedral of Hope (where the founder is Supt. Willie C. Vaughn Jr. and Pastor is Jack C Vaughn), they participate in various areas of the church music department. Now the Lord has blessed them to be able to concentrate on their singing careers. "We are ministering the Love of God. God has a love that goes beyond human comprehension. The Lord blessed us with talents in order to lift up his name and witness not only to fellow saints but also to those who still may not know the Lord. We want people to say " look what God has done for them" so that we can say you know... he can do it for you too if you ask him to. All we can say is the best is yet to come."
