Moon Maan is a Minneapolis-based rock band formed in early 2004 by former guitarist of Afghan Whigs, Rick McCollum as a four piece

They made their live debut at 2004''s South By South West Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX.

Moon Maan finally released their self-titled debut CD in the United States in June, 2007

Recorded new material on Easter 2008 as two piece w/ Erik Mathison on drums
