Details:
In 2001 Sarah moved from where she grew up in Christiana TN to Chambersburg PA and immediately got involved in theatre. She was one of twelve to be cast in Godspell. Her solo was “Day by Day”. The summer of her freshman year, she went to church camp While she was there she recorded a rough karaoke CD in a portable studio in Opry Mills. Her first recording!

She started her live performances during this time at small local restaurants and clubs. A demo CD was completed in Jan. of 2006. Sarah graduated high school in June of 2006. She was accepted to many colleges and had a sport scholarship but decided to put off college for now in order to pursue her singing career. That fall, she moved to western PA to continue doing shows at clubs. While here, she got involved with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre where she played Fantine in Les Miserable’s. Soon she crossed paths with Walt Maddox of the Marcels. She was lucky enough for him to take her under his wing and share his knowledge of the music industry. She did a recording in Pittsburgh and called it “Country With Attitude”, but she knew something was missing.

With the encouragement of friends and family, she tried out locally for the Colgate Country Showdown and won that event. She went on to win the state title for the Colgate Country Showdown in 2007 for Pennsylvania, This is when the local radio stations fell in love with her. They now play her songs on a regular basis! In September Sarah put on a show at the Butler High School where over 700 hundred people attended. Her performance was featured for several months on local Armstrong cable. Throughout the year she has sung the National anthem all over including: for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the North Washington Rodeo (the biggest rodeo this side of the Mississippi where she also opened the show), the Big Butler Parade, and many other places. Over the last 2
years she has done over 300 shows.

Ed Salomon, the executive director of The Country Radio Broadcasting, personally invited her down to Nashville for CRS in March 2008. She met so many people in the industry and knew that she had to record in Nashville. She made the move back to Nashville and did a few recordings. She released a single in a few regional areas and got a lot of attention with the song “Don’t Count Tomorrow”.
