JulieAnn’s CD, The Tower of Love, is a collection of peaceful, soothing original harp solos. JulieAnn’s CD won the highest award for excellence in three years from the International Harp Therapy Program and the
National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians, NSTMB, in March 2009.
Designed to be calming, the music on this CD is only a small representation of JulieAnn’s musical talent. Coming soon, her second CD, an original jazz harp combo.
JulieAnn is also a pianist and has performed with many singers and string players from around the world. She also toured with a flamenco dancer that couldn’t find a guitar player. JulieAnn received her bachelor''s degree from Arizona State University in piano performance/accompanying & coaching.
She studied under Eugene Pridinoff, a student of Rudolph Serkin, and Dr. Jean Barr, a student of the world renown accompanist, Gwendolyn Koldofsky.
Before finishing her degree, she was hired as a staff accompanist. While completing her Bachelor''s degree she performed in many musical comedy venues, including playing the piano and musical directing, and was invited to perform in Switzerland with world renowned violinists Yehuedi Menhuin and Paul Roland. During college JulieAnn studied the harp with harpist Esther McLaughlin, Mother of Carol McLaughlin.
JulieAnn received her Master''s degree from Alaska Pacific University, focusing on beginning piano pedagogy and harp performance. Concurrently she received a certificate in Harp Therapy.
