Part of this has to do with bassist, Vinnie Fiorillo, and lead guitarist, Rob Adelman, joining original band members Scott Tworek (lead vocals, guitar) and Dan Weiss (drums). New band members bring new musical influences. In Turn It Loose you will hear a marked addition of rock guitar riffs and solos, as well as blues and funk-oriented bass lines. Combine that with the folk and jazz influences already present and The Surefire Way definitely is "the mutt that is rock ''n roll".
