Joe Carey, a singer-songwriter guitarist in the genre of soulful roots rock, has been active in the Minnesota music scene for over 15 years. Since the age of 19, he has written, performed, and recorded with several bands including Loft, The Careys, and Love Songs For Angry Men. In 2003, Carey released his solo debut Wondervibe and in May of 2009 released his new album Sunflower Soul which he wrote, produced, and engineered by himself. Now living in St. Paul with his wife and their two children, Carey performs both solo and full band shows throughout the region.
