From her roots in a small Australian country town in the heart of the farming district of Northern Victoria, all the way to Israel, talented singer-songwriter Kath Buckell captivates audiences wherever she travels. In classic troubadour style she connects to her audience with her heartfelt stories of life and love. Her spirit is free, raw, honest and passionate. Buckell’s distinctive style draws upon many musical traditions, seamlessly fusing folk, traditional Irish and country with the exotic sounds of the Middle East. Collaborating with Buckell are the exceptional musical talents of Israeli-born Yaron Daffan (musical director/arranger, film composer, pianist); Racheli Saig (accordionist) who brings a distinctly European sound to the group; Russian-born violinist Alexey Kuchtakov whose virtuosic musical skills blend beautifully with the sweet funky, jazzy grooves played by Ariel Kuptiev on bass.
