Arkoss continues to master his art and has once again delivered a track that will cut across the major genres of house music. This will no doubt have dancefloors in a state of mayhem when it drops.
Arkoss started out in the underground music scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s at the age of 15. He experienced first hand the start of the rave culture that soon took over the world''s club scene. From House & Garage, to Hardcore, to Drum and Bass, Arkoss was there in the outdoor raves of the early 90’s and the illegal warehouse parties from Labyrinth, Enigma, Xseduss and Spiral Tribe - to name a few. Arkoss’ passion for House and Dance music grew and became a way of life for him. He began DJing & running his own club nights at a very young age.
Fast forward to the present day and Arkoss is a main key player in the London underground house music - from radio shows on London’s biggest underground station to playing in prominent London clubs. As well as being a DJ/producer, he is also the main key player at the hugely popular event, Funkinyou at Koko in Camden, London. Which is without a doubt London’s biggest monthly house night, managing to hold its residency at Koko since it launched in 2004. One of the reasons for this club night’s amazing success is Arkoss’s amazing sets and continuous energy, which gets the crowd rocking till the very end of the night.
Arkoss is also part of long running successful house night, Promised Land - a night devoted to classic house music that takes you back to the Summer Of Love 88-89.
Arkoss has been producing his own music for a few years and has some awesome new productions that will be released this year. He is getting huge support from big names such as Roger Sanchez, Axwell, Stonebridge, Steve Angelo, Tocadisco, S.O.S (Demi//Omid 16B//Desyn), Herd & Fitz, Soulavengerz to name but a few.
There is no doubt this promising new artist will blow up into a HOUSE-hold name by the end of 2009!
