Rising out of the scorching, arid wilderness of northern Georgia, Incarceri 9 grabs the spotlight of modern metal by the throat and spits a single, unvarnished truth down its quivering throat: that a new path of devastation is being forged by the next generation of heavy metal elite. Formed in late 2007 by the vitriolic Lord Kol (Vocals, Guitar, Drum Programming), Incarceri 9’s first assimilation came the form of BST (“beast”) who lays down thundering bass lines and guttural vocals. Guitarist and Keyboardist Jordan Owen was the last member to answer the “Kol” to join the group and so the Incarceri 9 collective began to stitch together influences from all across the metal landscape. Today, I9 delivers a performance that is at once stunningly avant-garde and accessible, bringing them legions of loyal fans.
