A lot of people can say they been rapping since the 3rd grade, but Prime has been writing and rapping for years. He started laying down tracks in 1997. Prime co-founded the Indie known as Playahs Paradise Entertainment in 1999 with business partner Jeffrey Andersen (Intox). It’s all about good music now, and that’s what they try to instill in young rappers that come through the PPE studio. "Either they can take the advice or they can learn the hard way", says Prime. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana Prime has a story of so many who was never stuck with nothing, but who lived to struggle, henceforth lived the struggle in urban society. Prime left his childhood and teenage years and joined the military where he met his fellow business partners.
