The David Hamilton Project actually started years ago when David Vine (aka David Hamilton) was a freshman student at the University of South Florida. Having studied and played music for years at schools in Miami Beach where he grew up, he was now enrolled in college and encouraged to select an appropriate course of study. He chose to become a dentist thinking that this profession would not only be interesting, but would allow him to pursue his musical interests in an non obstructive way.
