Details:
Samma Ditthi takes its name from the ancient Pali language and means Right View, which is one of the principle steps of The Noble Eightfold Path, from the Magga-vibhanga Sutta taught by Buddha Shakyamuni – and of great importance to Buddhist practitioners.
The minimalist, non-intrusive music structure is designed to gently bring a wandering mind back to the breath while the sound frequencies used create a restful, calming effect on the listener. The music can be useful for sitting, lying-down, or walking meditation practice, as well as yoga postures, pranayama breathing practice, and meditative rest periods.
The music of Samma Ditthi includes resonating Tibetan singing bowls that are very powerful in centering the mind and body. The vibrations are believed to purify negative influences, increase positive energy, and restore harmony and balance.
Samma Ditthi is ideal as a meditation timer – each track contains a Sati (mindfulness) bell at the beginning and end. This music is designed in three version-lengths for individual meditation requirements – 10, 20, and 30 minute - or you can play the whole 60 minutes of calming music rhythms.
