Eye Rhyme''s debut album "Life Control" is a concept album that tells the story of a teenage boy who is bored by his comfortable yet controlling home life. When his parents confront him after finding a gun in his room, he leaves for the streets of downtown and is tempted by the hollow promises of a ruthless drug lord. Although he is befriended by an old man who tries to help him see how he is being manipulated, the boy ends up doing the bidding of the drug lord leading him down a very dark path that involves gang turf, false loyalty, and murder. Guest appearances by guitarists Ian Chrichton of Saga fame on "Change" and Steve Shelski of Coney Hatch on "Visions". "Life Control" is raw, edgy, and shows a promise for development of Eye Rhyme''s unique sound.
