Each track of the Tao cd is inspired by a chapter from the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu (an ancient Chinese spiritual text).
The ten original pieces on this cd cover a range of stylistic treatments and utilize many traditional Asian instrument sounds and compositional techniques fused with various "modern" arrangements.

randon myles chisnell is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and electronic musician. his music blends lush, surreal landscapes and classical harmonies with subtle rhythms in a unique and beautiful way. his eclectic style draws upon a variety of influences including classical, jazz, progressive art rock, and modern electronic music. his music has been used in many multimedia environments including several commissions for dance, independent film and the stage.
