“INSIDE THE WRITER“
HUNGRY-HOMELESS-AMERICAN
By: https://www.tradebit.comrowski

The obvious and immediate thoughts that I would hope come to mind after listening to “HUNGRY-HOMELESS-AMERICAN are thoughts of Compassion, Hope and above all – Faith. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the underdog. I learned from very young to live by the Golden Rule and as my life progressed, I realized that to “Know Thy Self” was the first thing one had to accomplish before I could be of service to others. This is the underlying theory behind this song. For if we want to continue helping other countries, America must first learn to clean up its own backyard first so that we can honestly represent a higher standard for others to follow.

Unfortunately, it sometimes takes millions of people to suffer before we recognize there is a problem. And what’s worse is when we finally recognize it, we don’t follow-through and make it go away for good. We’re just not applying that Golden Rule at home. And so we still have this battle to deal with. One that goes beyond just the obvious. When I wrote: “starving in this land,” I’m not just talking about food…I’m talking about lost souls who are starving for Self-Worth, Dignity and most important - Peace of Mind.

The precept: “to Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Self” is not being applied by all who truly believe in it. For if it were, there wouldn’t be any brothers & sisters “starving in this rich land.” While my reference to “homeless” refers to shelter, of course, I aim for a deeper meaning referring to those who have little or no faith, no hope, and no outlet to make their dreams come true.

This song is not just a tool to attract the sympathetic giver, it is a hopeful message to “all” of Us with similar needs. “We’re gonna help you survive” clearly spells that out. For “all” people in trouble need to know that there is an invisible network out there who care and pray to “Keep Your Faith Alive!”

The last two verses compliment both sides of the issue by addressing the giver and receiver with this comforting truth: “We the People of these United States are tough, ‘cause we stick together, especially when times get rough. For we never let anything get the best of us.” I believe that everyone wins when everyone gives 100%. The laws of Nature are set up this way no matter what Faith you believe in. Let’s start by giving at home – put AMERICA first!

“INSIDE THE WRITER’S MIND“
KEEP DOIN’ By: A. Petrowski

KEEP DOIN’ (The Things That You Believe In) – The title of this song says it all. Simply because we all spend so much time working with people, chasing our dreams and doing things we really don’t want to do. Eventually, life teaches us the best way to grow and be happy is “to do the things that you believe in”.

This is the backdrop and purpose for this song. I wanted to write a song that I could relate to when I sang it and would inspire me when I listened to it. Something to help remind me that I am okay and doing fine right where I am. In other words, to be happy with who you are and where you are each and every moment. We all have times when the whole world comes crashing down and everything we accomplish falls short. But somewhere inside of us there is a little light that shines. Call it Truth, God, or whatever…but we all get a glimpse of it now and then to remind us of just who we are, why we are here, and how important Life truly is. We may not always understand it but we do need to accept it. And whatever it takes to get that emotional peace and freedom, we need to do our utmost to attain it and stay there.

Everyone is tested on a daily basis. It just depends on how aware we are of the signs and how we choose to deal with them. Awareness comes from paying attention to the subtle effects in life that guide us through all circumstances. These signs usually appear when times are rough and all hope is gone. But we need to remember that our time on earth is short and we can spend it however we want. My hope is that this song will act as a “human anthem” to encourage you whenever you get lost along the way. So you can: “Go where we want to go; Do what you gotta do; do it all for Love.”

I know that “Love” has been said and overdone but it is the meaning behind the word that is so universal. For we all truly know that to love is better than to hate! Why? Because the results of love are far better for all concerned.

So “Be who you want to be; Say what you gotta say; But do it all for LOVE.” Can you imagine what the world would be like if this anthem became a way of life? Everyone doing what they believe in based upon Love not hate? I think this could possibly be a definition of - Heaven on Earth!
