Details:
"Fantastico magnifico! A lyrically driven, sparkly wonderland of acoustic eccentrica."
- The Bull and Gate, London.

Rosey Dees formed early 2008 when an acoustic trio featuring Mark Dempsey (guitar, vocals, glockenspiel), Matthew Mulot (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Andy Brown (vocals, trumpet, melodica, harmonica, glockenspiel) enlisted a full time drummer Joel Kent and bass player/vocalist Ryan Coath. Up until this point the Greenwich based trio had been writing and performing for 5 years. Their story telling songs feature elaborate vocal harmonies over acoustic guitars, trumpets, harmonica, melodica and anything else they can lay their hands on.

After several well received performances in South-East London the group entered Underdogs Studio and began work on their 8 track EP. It was at this time that the band adopted the name Rosey Dees – in homage to the local pub where they cut their teeth.

Rosey Dees have performed sold out gigs at the Bull and Gate (Kentish Town, London), Hobgoblin (New Cross, London), the National Portrait Gallery (supported by 80''s sensation ''Wang Chung''). Their debut CD Flags of the hat is out now.
