Nicole Amber Lansang picked up her first microphone at the age of 3 and sang her very first song; Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” Realizing at that tender age that Nikki had an incredible voice, Nikki‘s parents began her vocal training with renowned singer and voice coach Margo Leduc.
Now at age 14, Nikki Amber is unstoppable!
Since age 10, Nikki Amber has sung at local restaurants and was asked to perform as a special guest at the Margo Leduc Foundation’s annual toy drive. Nikki was showcased at the 2007 and 2008 Adobo Festival, which features the best of the best Filipino singers. Subsequently, Nikki was voted Judge’s Favorite at the 2008 Fremont Talent Show; and soon after, auditioned for the annual USA World Showcase singing competition in Las Vegas. Hard work, patience and perseverance were required to enter this competition, and Nikki was determined to go all the way. The first show—including her performance--was broadcast internationally on the internet. There were six episodes total—and Nikki Amber made it to episode 5! This was a great accomplishment for first-timer Nikki, and quite a journey for her. Nikki knows that experience is the best teacher; and she is not taking “no” for an answer!
Nikki Amber is constantly working to improve her craft, get more experience, and show the world that she is something special!
