Details:
Naomi Arnold-Nedimala is a classically trained pianist whose repertoire includes contemporary Christian, classical, popular ballads and her own compositions. Naomi has been composing and arranging music since the age of 15.

Born in the lovely island country of Sri Lanka, Naomi began her musical training/career at a very young age. She began singing on stage at talent contests as a kindergartner. Her interest in singing and playing the piano motivated her parents to provide her with piano lessons from some of the finest piano teachers at the time. Naomi put her heart and soul into her piano lessons and studied music through the Royal Schools of Music, London and The Trinity College of Music, London. Not only did she successfully complete the series of examinations by age 18, she also won several awards for her outstanding performance. Music was a big part of her life and she continued to play the piano in school, church, bands, concerts and recitals - where she won several awards and was recognized for her musical accomplishments.

Naomi completed her high school at Kodaikanal International School in south India. She was the first student at the school to take (and successfully pass) the International Baccalaureate examination in Music. She continued her study of Music at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where she had the privilege of being a member of the freshman women''s chorus and had the opportunity to sing with the well-known St. Olaf Choir. After her freshmen year, she moved to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and completed her undergraduate studies in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at George Mason University.

During much of the 1990''s, Naomi pursued a career as a Human Resources professional. Then, in the late 90''s, she decided to suspend her HR career and focus her energy on being a full-time mother. It was during this time that she accepted an opportunity to serve in the Music Ministry at the Church of the Redeemer in Gaithersburg, MD. To date, Naomi continues to serve in this ministry.

Naomi is the oldest of three girls and hails from a very musical family. She credits much of her musical inspiration to her parents Stanley and Beatrice Arnold. Back in Sri Lanka, Stanley was a member of a very successful musical quartet called the Four Chords. The group was featured on Sri Lankan radio in the early 60''s and performed in concerts in Sri Lanka and throughout South East Asia. Stanley Arnold wrote one of the songs in this album.

Naomi married her husband, Antonio, in August 1990 and has been blessed with two rambunctious boys, Brandon and Matthew. She also gave birth to a third son, Brady, who was stillborn in December 2002. During the anguish of the grieving process, she wrote a song dedicated to the memory of Brady. It is called, Brady''s Song, and is the signature composition of her inaugural album, Moments In Time.

As the name suggests, Moments In Time is a compilation of songs written by Naomi at different points during the course of her life. Each song is a portrayal of her musical expression inspired by various events and people in her life. Music is a God given gift that Naomi cherishes & uses for the glory of her Heavenly Father.
