Not So Solemn, a band from Charlotte, North Carolina, has been playing in music venues throughout North and South Carolina since 2002. This acoustic based group fuses their own style of music drawing inspiration from southern rock, blues, and bluegrass, all while staying true to their singer-songwriter inspired roots. After releasing their first c.d., “Road Trip Songs,” in 2004, Eric Hagemeyer, Curt Mattes, Justin Babcock, and Lee Tappy are excited to be heading back into the studio to work on their second recording project this winter. The band continues to love spreading their own version of “homemade acoustic jam” throughout Charlotte.
