Details:
The Band Foster is a Houston, TX based band that has risen from their grassroots toward an unbelievable new destiny. Their new album, “Believe,” was released in April 2009. The album features melodic, soulful tunes like “Hey Child”, “Change”, “All in All”, “Appreciate Life”, “The Child” and “Looking Glass”, driving rock ‘n roll songs like “Believe”, “Rearranged”, hard-hitting songs like “Fine Line”, “Everywhere” and “Subitual Girl”, and the epic hit follow-your-dreams hit “Rock Star”.

“The album’s title track “Believe” reminds fans that life is what you make of it. “If you strive for the best and believe in yourself, you’ll succeed beyond compare,” says lead singer John Foster. The sound of the band parallels each member’s life experience. “We’ve worked so hard on this new album making sure all of the songs are as professional as possible. We’ve strived to give our fans everything they deserve and we do hope they like the new sound,” says Foster.

The bands musical influences range from artist like Third Eye Blind, The Fray, Coldplay, The Cure, Alice N Chains, Thursday, The Killers and many, many more. When it comes to music, The Band Foster is no stranger. Members of the band have experience performing rock, pop, Top 40 and adult contemporary type music. All have come together to bring forth the new sound of The Band Foster. “I feel the band brings a sound of hope and prosperity that’s been embedded in them since birth. No matter what happens in the world, we can always count on music to lift our spirit. That’s what The Band Foster is all about. Reminding the world that music still lives in all of us,” says Foster.

Previously, members of the band have opened up for national artist like Dexter Freebish, Saliva, Local H, Stroke 9 and The All American Rejects. The band hopes to perform with other established acts and as their fan base grows, the band soon will become a national act themselves bringing a red-hot concert attraction to Texas, California and the rest of the U.S.

It only takes one listen to the debut album to hear the incredible melodic sound of timeless rock for music lovers in this modern age. The band is quickly capturing new audiences everyday and the impact of the new CD will be great. Each song on the album, while different, tells a certain story. Some even have said that the band’s music is “driving music.” Meaning that you could drive for hours listening to “Believe” and never take out the CD because each song on the album consists of catchy riffs, unique vocal melody and hooks that keep you listening and singing for hours.

The trademark vocals of John Foster are reminiscent of several different well-known artists but with the twist of John’s own unique elegance. “My vocals fit the music because of the extreme emotion written behind the music. With that emotion it’s easy to portray to the listener the meaning of the song,” says Foster. Originally, the album was a solo project by John Foster developed in his home studio. While recording songs for the new album Foster was introduced to Ed Dzwonkowski of Follow Your Plan, Inc. Dzwonkowski immediately signed the band to his label and the development of the new album is, as they say, history.
Songs for the album “Believe” were written by John Foster, organized by Foster and Ed Dzwonkowski and produced by Foster, Dzwonkowski, Pat Bautz, Rye Randa.
