Bishop George C. Searight
An anointed preacher, teacher, and psalmist, Bishop George C. Searight serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Abundant Life Family Worship Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Under his leadership, the Abundant Life Family Worship Church has experienced tremendous membership growth, growing to more than 4,000 members. Abundant Life has over 40 ministries committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community and to the world at large.
Bishop Searight is a renowned speaker on Praise and Worship. He has traveled the country and abroad evangelizing and facilitating conferences, seminars and crusades. Bishop serves as the National Praise and Worship Leader for the Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral Assemblies, Inc., and each year, under George C. Searight Ministries, hosts a Praise & Worship Conference, where hundreds gather for an awesome praise & worship experience.
Searight has produced and released three praise and worship albums: “Amazing Grace” and “Designed for Praise” and the latest project “Make Your Presence Known” (available at https://www.tradebit.com). He has been privileged to carry the anointing of praise and worship all across the United States and major platforms such as Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Bishop Searight is also proud to announce the release of his new book entitled: The Dwelling Place.
His church, The Abundant Life Family Worship Church, is best known for an unforgettable praise and worship experience! Prior to it’s establishment in 1991, Bishop Searight served Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr. at The Cathedral International in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Bishop Hilliard consecrated Pastor Searight to the Office of Bishop on June 21, 2003 and in August 2004, Searight received an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College. He also serves as Police Chaplin in the City of New Brunswick.
Bishop Searight has been married to Lady Mary Searight for 33 years. Through this union, God has blessed them with two children, Erika and George II.
