After attending the University of Kansas for a brief time on a music scholarship, Uriah moved to Los Angeles with the proverbial stars in his eyes.
For a small town boy, Uriah, whose name means "God''s light,” Los Angeles afforded not only a real-life education but the freedom to unlock the voice within. Working with a vocal coach, Uriah built his voice up to a mighty crescendo while he concentrated on writing songs.
