Artist Biography
Born in East Saint Louis, IL, this emcee has traveled the nation and abroad mixing a variety of styles from all over. Whether he’s on the East Coast or west coast, or anywhere in between—everyone will know Jaeski Capone. After forming the underground hip-hop group “The Infamous Untuchables” in 1999. The album HEAT’ was soon released in 2000. It was perceived by southern hip hop magazine Murder Dog as one of their top ten Indie albums for that year. The second project failed to be released due to political reasons within the organization; although, plenty of material was recorded that far exceeded the content on the first. This created a temporary distaste for the industry for Jaeski Capone so he took a short hiatus from it all. While attending college in 2006, Jay was notified that an album was coming out featuring various tracks he had previously recorded; these tracks were meant for the second Untuchable’ project but were now being used without his consent. This album was being released by former band mate Hanibal. It failed to receive any success without the backing of Mr. Capone. Jaeski has always sensed that his lyrical ability and showmanship could not be contained within any particular group, so he released his solo debut in 2008. The album Hip-Hopcrisy is continuing to garner digital success surpassing a milestone of 1700 downloads as of 12/31/2008 without a major record deal or little to no promotion. The album stalled briefly when Jay was arrested in 2008 for a crime he was later found innocent of all charges. The album was mostly recorded in Memphis Tennessee with his former band mate from his former group. This would be the last business venture the two would embark upon, for the two are no longer friends or colleagues due to accusations of betrayal and distrust. Jaeski has partnered with Solo1 Productions in Illinois to embark on a new vision and new dream that consists of dominating his native Midwestern roots and all who oppose him.
