I have been recording songs on my computer on and off for about a decade. This EP represents some of my favorites.
I wrote the structure to the song “Strange Red Afternoon” in Acapulco and I would estimate that I have spent around 70 hours recording that song. It feels good to finally have it finished. The last song, “Brother” is one that I wrote about my brother a few days after he was killed by a drunk driver. I was not in a good state for much of anything (including song writing), but I wanted to have a song to play to honor him at his memorial service.
