Jeff Trotter is a 23 year old up and coming artist that is looking to reshape the negative stereotypes surrounding hip-hop. “I believe good music is more than just a catchy hook and a nice beat to bob your head to. Hip-hop was God given for us to express our standpoints. In the words of one of my favorite artist Lauren Hill, I thought music was supposed to inspire.” Trott is a strong believer of the Christian faith but understands the importance of not over forcing his beliefs on others. “I want my music to ring with truth giving guidance, healing and motivation to those in a struggle. People usually know the things they do wrong without others pointing the blame at them. I just want to be able to show them there is a better way.
