Growing up in a small Minnesota town in a large family that loved music, was a great blessing in my life. My mother used to play the piano while her four daughters would sing along to the music of the 1930’s and 40’s. All six of us kids learned to play an instrument and some of us still play and sing to this day. Mom and Dad were always our biggest fans and our greatest source of encouragement. A solid faith-filled family of hard work and love was a true inspiration.
My music is a reflection of days spent at Birch Point surrounded by the wonders of nature and moments of peace and solitude. It is a blend of Christian and Folk music that has been inspired by so many people and events in my life. I see my music as being “given and created” by life experiences and the love of my God.
Many of the songs that I have written came to me during times spent on Birch Point with my family and friends.
If not for His many blessings I would not have this music to share.
I hope that you find my music comforting and inspiring...
