Hey Hip Hop World I would like for you to take a small journey with me to the Deep South. Imagine growing up in a rural city in South Arkansas where you really have limited resources and nowhere to go but up. Faced with these limited possibilities for a stable future, RJ and his two cousins, DJ and Chad formed the Lockboyz in order to provide unity among all of their friends. The group started off with about 20 young men but not all of them had the rapping bone in their body. This experience helped construct the foundation for something really great for these guys, causing all of their friends to want to become a part of Lockboyz. As stated earlier with the number of guys showing interest in the Lockboyz, they proved to be strong, committed, dependable, and trustworthy. Not really knowing what to do with this great creation, Tristan (Balla-T) got the ball running on the rap tip when he recorded his first song. He then took it to RJ (Hurricane Hook) and Ray (Chop) to listen to and the rest is a “rap.” The two guys immediately liked it and began forming the rap entity of Lockboyz. Persistence, patience, hard-work, and determination can describe the four guys who took to this phenomenon of music. Don’t for a second think that the Lockboyz are taking a backseat to rap; no they understand fully well that the best things worth having are worth waiting for. These guys have been in amazing situations while on their quest for fame and they will continue to use this experience to help them reach the necessary steps of achieving stardom. You will hear and feel the LOCKBOYZ MOVEMENT just you wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
