Details:
Kmnpei Nakabayashi. Born in 1981. He joined a brass ensemble club as soon as he entered high school and he started playing wooden base. At the Student Jazz Festival ?a high school big band contest, he won the 1st place two straight years.
In university, he joined a Jazz study club. At a jazz contest in 2003, he won grand prix and best player awards. After graduation, he played with renowned musicians such as Terumasa Hino. After moving to Tokyo in 2005, he performed as a member of Masahiro Sayama Trio, Isao Suzuki ’s “OMA SOUND”, and so on. His diverse musical activities also include his own band consist only of three bassists and collaboration works with theater groups.
His first album
“Graffiti” was released in July 2008 from UZU RECORDS.
