On April 8, 2005, five spectacular individuals came together and created the band known as Poor-John. All of Poor-John''s original members grew up in the Southern Maine region. The group was created by Matthew Caron (Lead Guitarist) with long time friend Benjamin Stiles (Drums). Poor-John started out as a battle of the bands type of group, but later Caron and Stiles became more serious about music and decided to make Poor-John more than just a onetime thing. All throughout high school, they created music, keeping their best songs. They decided to take their music a step further by adding Brian Ingalls (Rhythm Guitar), Sean Bowman (Bass Guitar) and Cotey Green (Vocals) to the current Poor-John line-up. After a few years, the group has performed on numerous stages in Maine and has finished their highly anticipated debut album, "This CD Made Us Broke..." Look for great things from them in the future.
