In the early nineties, armed with only a 4-track cassette recorder, cheap drum machine and pawn shop guitars, Dan Scott (guitarist/vocalist) of VOR began forging surprisingly innovative musical compositions in a corner of an apartment bedroom in the suburbs of Atlanta. After nearly a decade of hard work and dedication to his craft, Dan established a successful commercial recording/production facility in Atlanta and started producing for other artists. After a brief hiatus from performing, Dan started a fresh new venture with band members, Will "dub ya" Jones (Lead Guitars), Richard Jenkins (Drums) and Rob Fisher (Bass, Background Vocals) to form the band VOR. With a clear vision, drive for success, ambition and a tireless work ethic, they have now released their 2009 self-produced, modern rock debut which includes a conglomeration of dynamic fist pumping riffs, melodic ambient sounds and matchless vocal styling. With highly popular tracks such as "Slow Motion Crash", "The Sound of Shame" and "Silence the Lies", VOR is sure to see rapid growth in their fanbase as they continue their aggressive promotional and performance schedule. The members of VOR are veterans in the music business and have a combined decade of experience in many areas of the music business including live performances, live sound engineering, studio construction/engineering, production, mixing, mastering, band promotion and marketing. Dan Scott has been working full time in the music business since the mid 90''s, producing and recording local artists from all around Atlanta. Dan’s studio "Dan Scott Productions, LLC" is still in operation today and serves the local Atlanta music scene. All of the members of VOR have an unrelenting desire to create and perform high quality music with integrity and passion. Most importantly, they are ready to have fun and share their music with their fans and the rock community.
