THE STEVES were a talented and energetic band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The trio was made up of STEVE HAAS, STEVE SPECTRUM, and WADE “FLASH” STEPHENSON.
Here is the long awaited release of the CD titled "NV"... a campy yet thoroughly tantalizing collection of fifteen punchy, well-structured numbers that provide a wide range of audio fun and excitement. Also appearing on NV are guest musicians STEVE LANGE, ROB FOREST, KURT NELSON, DAVEY HORN, and MIKE LAQUA.
This diverse collection pays homage to a smorgasbord of influential classic rockers. A sonic buffet that mixes The Beatles, Billy Idol & Bachman-Turner Overdrive, seasoned with flavorings from The Hollies, The Who, and ZZ Top, marinated with spices from Steppenwolf and Joe Walsh; Add a dash of DooWop, Dion, and Derek & the Dominoes. Serve it up with sides of Plastic Ono Band, George Thorogood, and Roy Orbison. The result is a tasty product with something to please even the most finicky listener.
