"Jayc is an exceptional songwriter with a voice drenched in passion. He is an incredible lead guitar player with a voice and style reminiscent of Buck Owens and Keith Whitley. His voice and talent could carry him easily in the secular market, but he chooses a narrow path with a higher calling! If you love good Country music, Jayc Harold will show up and deliver," says good friend and fellow artist, Greg McDougal.

NextNumberOne Music Group President Patricia Smith says, "Jayc is an experienced performer who has proven himself on the road in front of large audiences including; Country music fans, Christian Country and Americana. His unique vocals and style command the stage. Comments from diverse music fans have proved to be enthusiastic, a dynamic powerful testament to Jayc''s ability to please an audience no matter the genre. While there are times one gets lost in his tall good looks, one quickly finds their way back into the passion of his unique style and the stage presence he exudes.”

Jayc has seen his share of hard times. When he was 10 years old, his older brother passed away and left the family in turmoil. Tragically, a year later, his older sister passed away. This turned his father to the bottle, only adding to the family''s grief. As the eldest son, Jayc began working 40 hours a week in the family''s automotive shop while going to school full time.

Married at the age of 20, Jayc had built a very successful roofing company. Jayc started drifting away from his faith thinking money would help him fill the hole in his soul left by the tremendous amount of grief he had experienced in his short life. By the age of 25, he opened an automotive shop and later turned it into a used car dealership. Although his endeavors turned out very successful, buying ‘things’ did not fill the void in his soul.

Tragedy struck again when his wife was expecting their third child. His mother had been diagnosed with cancer which would turn out to be fatal. The day before she passed away, she spoke some words to his father that he will never forget. She said, "If only our boys would do what they were put on this earth to do." The first thing that entered his mind was, "How did she know I had those exact same feelings, but have kept them to myself?” Her words inspired him to change his career and make a total commitment to do what he believes the Lord put him here to do. Financially set, wife and family, he had it all. Still, the hole in his soul was never filled, and kept getting bigger every day.

Then, one day, while listening to a Gospel tape by Buck Owens, Jayc gave it all over to Christ. He started writing Gospel songs again. He bought a Greyhound bus, and spent a year rebuilding and remodeling it for a tour bus. A short time later, he sold the family home, and the car dealership and moved into the bus. With his family by his side, he drove to Nashville to do what he loves to do for the Lord, Honky Tonk Gospel. While pain is real on this earth, if we turn to Jesus, he will comfort us through these times with a love only He can fill.

A concept video of “Hard Times” is in the works that will certainly touch the hearts of viewers, letting them know it is Jesus who turns lives around, giving them peace and hope that can only come through Him. The single, “Hard Times” will soon be released nationwide to Christian Country radio by HMG Nashville.
