Born in central Virginia, John has played the piano since he was nine years old. A longtime admirer of Floyd Cramer, he has developed a real taste for piano-centered instrumental music.

After years of playing for personal satisfaction and enjoyment, John produced his first of three cassettes in 1995. Today, a total of sixteen (16) CD projects are available..

His unique “drop-step” style results in unusual renditions of many time-tested favorites. A “country flavor” blend of piano and support instrumentation brings new life to more than 150 traditional standards.
