I am Tracey Barbour a woman of God dedicated to being an anointed vessel to carry the Word of God to the people of the world who need to know that there is no God like Jehovah and that Jesus is Lord of ALL. I accepted Jesus Christ as personal savior while in High School and was Born Again and Baptized. I started singing as a child and through the years have been blessed to perform on stages both in the local Chicago area and across the United States.
I have worked in the areas of Classical, Jazz and Gospel. & several years ago committed to focusing solely on Christian music I spent 5 years as a member of Chicago based Steel Dreamin Gospel Trio. I have shared the stages with such artists as: Albertina Walker, Silver Stars, Otis Clay, Viki Yohi, Kim Straton, Donald Lawrence, Eddie Tucker and Walt Whitman. In 2006 I answered the call to step out on faith and walk in the calling of Music Ministry. As a result of that step of faith the CD single Flow was released in 2006. Still trusting in his promises in 2007 I went back into the studio and recorded a full album. My debut CD album Thank You Lord is now released and ready for being distributed all across the country. I am ready to go where ever God leads me.
I believe that God has called me to use my voice both in motivational speaking and singing to empower people and enlarge the Kingdom of God. I am charged to bring the message of the Gospel to the world in the melodies and words that he gives me. For so many years I let this gift lay dormant and never realized what God intended for me to do. Thanks be to God that he continued to pursue me until I answered the call and allowed him to renew my mind to the Kingdom way of doing things. In one of the songs on the Thank You Lord album the lyric line is…”my faith plus your light puts my destiny in sight.” That is where I am https://www.tradebit.comking by faith guided by His Light into the destiny he has prepared for me. I am excited about what God is doing in these end times and I am on the front line running like David did to slay the giants and take back the Kingdom.
I am just an ordinary person who dares to trust an extraordinary God and let Him use me to show the world what he will do with a yielded vessel.
