Lynn Cassell sings straight from the heart in “a voice like mocha latte", says one fan. Whether she''s singing about love, loss, or the land, her lyrics transport you to that place.
Lynn taught herself to play guitar at age 12 and soon thereafter was singing and playing regularly at church and school events. She continued playing music as a hobby during undergraduate and professional school, and during the years that she was working as a veterinarian.
Often following especially difficult cases, Lynn found release in sharing her experiences through songwriting. At times she collaborates with her husband, a phenomenal storyteller, who often provides raw lyrics for Lynn to shape into a song. Lynn has released one CD, Texas Bound! (©2000), and is about to release a second CD entitled Love and Loss (©2008).
In 2007, after nearly 15 years in Annapolis MD and in concert with a move to the truly inspiring environs of Jackson Hole WY and Zion Canyon UT, Lynn became a full time musician in hopes of sharing her voice and her message with others.
