Details:
Slömber is a rock n’ roll explotion from Norway. Taking on the heritage of scandi-rockers such as Gluecifer and Backyard Babies, Slömber represent the new wave of Norwegian rock. Black metal is faded and the hardcore-scene is now just a bunch of emo clowns. With the rawness of Motörhead, the attitude of a young Guns n’ Roses and the riffs of Mötley Crüe, this is a hybrid of the best from all the last decades in rock.

Slömber got together in March 2004, recording a demo in October the same year. It got great receptions in the local music press, and since then the band has been writing songs and playing tons of gigs all around Europe. They released their first EP “Fire in the Jailhouse” in March 2007, on their own label Naked Hollywood Records. That gave the band more great reviews, and they ended up in bestseller-shelves in Norway’s biggest record-stores. During 2007 Slömber tripled the amount of gigs from earlier years, and even put on a three-week tour in Scandinavia and Germany.

2008 was supposed to be the year of a real Slömber breakthrough, with new tours and an album-release coming up. The year turned out slightly different. After recording their album things got held back, and due to delays everywhere the European tour was cancelled. Bass-player Uncle Tom Tucker left the band, and to top that; all previous recordings and back-ups was stolen during a studio break-in in September. All beaten down the guys got back on their feet, got back in the studio to re-record the album, and with new bass-player Eddie D''Lizard, their now ready to convince the continent with their new record "Dirty Drinks and One-Night Stands" finally being released in the fall 2009.

To attend a Slömber-show is like getting run over by the airport express-train; not a pretty sight, but one hell of an experience.

"Just as sure as U2 suck, I''m a f**kin'' Slömberslut!"
