My name is Russ and I played bass in a local rock band called Adore over the last several years. Over the summer I decided to take a break from being in a band. Even though I wasn''t in a band I still had the itch to make music. My wife and I had our first baby on the way, so I thought it would be fun to write an album before the baby was born. It''s basically about my perspective on things prior to having a child. I recorded it on a digital 12 track at home since I didn''t have the time or budget to take the project into a studio. The different components of the music are vocals, bass, an effects processor, a synthesizer, and a drum machine. This was my first attempt at anything other than bass, so it was a learning experience.
