I started playing the piano in college with one goal in mind…to find peace in my own soul. Playing the piano was the only thing that would bring me peace during this time in my life. I would play for hours on end which allowed my soul to begin to speak through its notes.
Almost twenty years later a friend, who had struggled with Post Traumatic Stress, heard me play and encouraged me to record my music. He made a couple of calls to his friends in Nashville and 6 months later I had finished up Majestic Rain. I thought my music was for my own personal peace, but it has turned into so much more.

"Hi Honey.
...Last night I laid in bed and listened to that CD you sent to me. This is the first time I really “listened’ to it. It was AMAZING! Immediately I could sense the presence of God in the notes. A calming came over me as I listened to it over and over, probably 30-40 times. Tears just rolled off my cheeks as I could just feel His presence. His LOVE is all I thought about. I had a clear-as-day vision of the Lord showing His love for me! He was trying to show me that the closer I got to Him, the more I would feel His love. I said to myself, “What do you mean?” and God started to walk closer to me. As He got closer I felt immense love and an unexplainable wholeness. Tears were just pouring down and I felt so good. Then words to the notes came to mind. It was God singing a song about me. The words just came to me and went perfectly with the melody of the song. I didn’t want to move! I didn’t want to take a chance on ruining this intimate, but learning experience with the Lord. Before I knew it, it was 3 AM, and I just kept listening to the song as I fell asleep. Now here it is the next day at 1300 hours and I am listening to the song over and over again. He is such an amazing God. I have tears now just thinking about it. What an amazing night!

"I was listening to your CD (it''s on often in our home!) and dusting my bedroom. I wasn''t thinking anything in particular nor feeling any certain way.......just dusting, kind of emotionless, listening to the music. I began to feel touched in my Spirit, you know, the way you do when a famliar song washes over you and brings back memories of your childhood. Tears came rushing to my eyes and I felt the Father''s arms wrap around me so very gently. I stood there, dustrag in hand, swaying to His heartbeat in the embrace of my Heavenly Father, warm tears flooding my face. The feeling was not one of sadness, but overwhelming security and love. I have needed that for so long. It was so awesome I didn''t want it to end. When the song was over, I breathed deeply several times, coming back to the reality of the moment. Still entranced, I looked up at the CD to find out which song I had been listening to. I smiled all the way to my heart when I read the appropriately titled song, "Lullabye".. Thanks, Pete, for the Father is the Father to the fatherless. I guess He knew how badly I needed a Fatherly hug at that moment. It was such a gift!"
