Roseanne Krzanowski is an enthusiastic taekwondo mom who lives in Connecticut with her husband, Rob, and two sons . She attends the family class at World Champion Taekwondo with her older son and hopes to study the art more fully in the future. She holds a Master’s degree in library science and edits the newsletter for Hand to Hand for Haiti In her lifetime, she has hiked a live volcano, won spelling bees, sung in a South American prison, lost her wallet in Paris and recovered it in Brussels, appeared on the TV show Black Perspectives, cataloged GE’s video library, and considers it all worthless in light of what Jesus has done for her (Philippians 3:8).

"This song was inspired by our experience working with Master Ki Ye Cho. He is a Christian, and he teaches with amazing grace. He helped me to believe in myself despite all my mistakes. I realized with awe that this is what Jesus is like. Jesus knows and loves each one of us, with all our faults. ● I don’t go to taekwondo class because I have great discipline or focus. I go because I’m clumsy! In the same way, I don’t have to lose all my faults to serve God. It is because of our faults that we need Him: to save us from hell, change our hearts, and train us for the life we were meant to live. And so I came kicking and screaming to the Holy Master’s feet. ● What God expected from me was that I simply repent of my sins (Col. 3:1-9), put on my spiritual uniform (Colossians 3: 10-14), report for duty, and let Him coach me. He saw me as a learner, not a loser. I began to see myself that way, too. ● I still sin and struggle, but with God’s help I am improving. Jesus is my Champion against evil, taking on my battles when my strength is not enough. If you were at my deathbed, I would hope these would be my last words: You can know Jesus too, not just as an historical figure, not just as a wise teacher, but as your Master. He is the One who gave His life for you, the One who wants to spend eternity with you, the One who can make your life complete now. Seek Him through His word, the Bible."
