The Dog Days of Summer
This was the last record that we released as a five piece. We enlisted engineer Sean O''dwyer (blink 182, mxpx, Sum 41, more) as lead engineer, and drew this recording out from Los Angeles, CA to Lansing, MI... from February 2004-June 2005.
This was also the first album that we put out completely independently, without any help from anybody. We produced it ourselves, tracked a lot of it ourselves, did all our own artwork, and booked our own support tours.
Although we worked extremely hard and really had to fight an uphill battle to see this record actually get released, it was never promoted with the energy we wanted to put into it due to the fact that only 3 months after its release, the band was reduced from a five piece to a three piece, and a whole new approach had to be taken in order to continue the success of what we were doing.
In light of the fact that many who have heard this record still consider it to contain some of the best and catchiest songs we have ever put out, we are now offering it worldwide through the digital release.
