Josh and Darcy decided it was time to leave. They planned an Epic Adventure around the world for four months, traveling to places such as Iceland, Spain, Morocco, India, and Thailand. And of course, they couldn''t leave without their guitars. The duo, who had been writing and playing together for years and recorded their first CD, "Faith In Shadows" in 2008, planned on writing and performing as they travelled. Clarity Amid The Chaos was recorded within two months of returning home in early 2009. The songs are inspired by epic landscapes, emotional experiences, and the internal struggles that everyone faces while travelling through the unfamiliar.
When traveling through chaotic lands and cultures, you often have many moments of clarity. Times when you can focus your thoughts and gain insights that you wouldn''t have been able to discover in the comfort of home.
